AiSPiRE will demo the 6-inch Retrofit Downlight fixture in its ASTRO Experience of Light at CEDIA Expo 2024, Sept. 5-7 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver.
Attendees can learn the details about the new product and the rest of AiSPiRE’s downlight options by visiting the AiSPiRE/WAC Lighting Booth #4112 during the show–which is also where attendees will be able to see WAC’s new Colorscaping landscape lighting system while at CEDIA Expo 2024.
The new ASTRO Basics All-in-One 6-inch Retrofit Recessed Downlight is a significant profit opportunity for integrators and offers features that allow it to be an adjustable, straight down, and a beam adjustable dim-to-warm luminaire from 3000K to 1800K, AiSPiRE explains.
The company calls it an ideal replacement option for any traditional 6-inch incandescent recessed fixture.
“By mimicking an incandescent lamp’s dimming appearance, AiSPiRE is able to shift color temperatures and create a visually comfortable and innately familiar experience while still benefitting from the energy savings and long life of LEDs,” according to the company.

AiSPiRE ASTRO Downlights Enable Dim-to-Warm Controls
The AiSPiRE ASTRO family of downlights offers several dim to warm options that are said to be easy to install and easy to use, delivering a range from a 3000K White Light – the color of halogen to a warm 1800 Kelvin.

Traditional LED does not change color or warm up when you dim the light like incandescent sources, the company notes.
At full brightness, Dim-To-Warm luminaires perform at 3000K color temperature and a 95-plus color rendering index for a beautiful, crisp white light, the company states.
Dim-to-Warm technology allows integrators to dim to a more intimate, calming glow at 1800K candlelight ambiance, providing a warm mood with gentle illumination. AiSPiRE suggests this solution is excellent for primary baths, dining rooms, home theaters, and more.
All controllable Dim-to-Warm options utilize TRIAC or Electronic Low Voltage Universal protocol.
Earlier this year, AiSPiRE/WAC showcased its ‘Four Experiences of Light’ at Lightapalooza 2024, featuring AiSPiRE’s ASTRO, ATMOSPHERE, AURORA, and ALPINE variety of downlights and luminaires.
